Description of the tour:
The meeting point will be at the entrance of your hotel at the time indicated in the confirmation of your reservation.
While we will go to Cancun aboard a comfortable minivan, our professional guide will give you more information about the day's itinerary, the marine biology of the whale shark and its habitat.
Once you arrive at the marina, we will offer you a light breakfast (coffee, bread, and fruits). Then, our certified guides will explain the safety rules and help you board our comfortable speedboat with your group (maximum 10 people per group).
The adventure begins! We will go in search of the whale sharks in the open sea, reaching the observation area in about an hour. After the sighting of these incredible animals, we will gear up to begin the snorkeling activity.
At all times, we will respect the rules established to protect the whale shark: only two persons can enter the water at a time, always accompanied by the guide. The swimming activity will be done in turns, allowing each couple to swim at least twice. On some occasions, it is also possible to observe manta rays and dolphins in that area.
Next, we will offer you water, soft drinks and sandwiches on the boat to recover energy, while we navigate towards the lovely Isla Mujeres. We will make a stop near the island to snorkel on a coral reef and then go to Playa Norte, one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, where we will serve you a delicious Caribbean lunch (fish or shrimp ceviche, guacamole and fruits). You will have about an hour to eat, swim, relax and enjoy the beach.
Afterwards, aboard the boat, we will return to our marina in Cancun where the minivan will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
